His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, chaired a meeting of the Federal Cabinet today in the emirate of Umm al Quwain.
The meeting was held at the Ministry of Youth and Culture’s Centre for Community Development, in the presence of the Ruler of Umm al Quwain and Supreme Council Member, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid al Muallah.
It was also attended by Their Highnesses, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nayhan and other ministers and heads of public departments in Umm al Quwain.
The cabinet reviewed pan-national development issues relating to education, health, the economy, infrastructure and housing, focusing on equal opportunities for all UAE nationals.
The Vice-President stressed a determination to achieve the goal set in the UAE Vision 2021 to make the UAE one of the most competitive countries in the world.
Sheikh Mohammed said this goal is a commitment to His Highness, the President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of the UAE.
Sheikh Mohammed also urged all Ministries and local departments to cooperate in achieving this vision.
The Vice-President also highlighted the importance of strategic planning and integration across federal teams to implement the UAE’s Vision 2021.
His Highness also thanked the Ruler of Umm al Quwain for attending this important meeting.
